The North Carolina Real Estate Commission requires that all licensees complete a minimum of eight (8) hours of Continuing Education by June 10 of each year in order to renew a license. All necessary books are included in our course fee.
The 2026 - 2027 Broker-in-Charge Update (BICUP) Course is a four (4) hour course that must be completed by all brokers-in-charge and brokers who have BIC-Eligible status and who wish to renew their licenses on active status on July 1, 2027 for the 2027 -2028 license year
This course provides an overview of the framework of Code of Ethics, beginning with the aspirational concepts of the Preamble, then moving to the current Articles and Standards of Practice, and finishing with methods of enforcement. Participants will then examine existing Fair Housing legislation with a focus on identifying protected classes, expoloring the neurological basis of implicit bias, and strategies for effectively avoiding biased behavior in our real estate practice.
The 2026-2027 General Update (GENUP) Course is a four (4) hour course that must be completed by all provisional brokers and non-provisional brokers who are not brokers-in-charge and/or do not have BIC-Eligible status and who wish to renew their licenses on active status on July 1, 2027 for the 2027 - 2028 license year
